Round 2!!!!!

Round 2 baby!! Let's get started!!!
Sooooo ummmm.... I made the decision yesterday that I'm competing again. On May 24... yup you read that right. MAY. That is in 4 weeks. Am I crazy?!?!?! I'm freaking out a little bit but I'm so excited. My trainer, Tamara Watt, and her husband Jeremy told me that they think I would do great and they think it's a good idea for me to do as many shows as possible. I completely trust their judgement so I agreed to go for it. I'm so excited. The next 4 weeks will be hard but I can't wait to be onstage again and get my name out there. This is an NGA show. It's different from NPC because it's for natural athletes only. Meaning, you are tested for steroids. So I guess I'll have to hurry and quit taking steroids...... lol totally kidding. I would never take steroids, I'm veeeerrrrryyy against that. But I'm excited to see how I like NGA! It will be a quick 4 weeks!!!!!

New Goals

I am back from California!! It was absolutely lovely! I didn't work out as much as I was supposed to. In fact I didn't work out at all. Unless you count paddle boarding. I do feel guilty but it's okay. I'll go hard this week. If you're going on a trip you need to plan your workouts ahead and know exactly what you're going to do.








I have some new goals and focuses:
Learn to love leg day.
Learn to love the burn and push through those last few reps because those are the ones that will really change your body.
Make every exercise precise.

I'm excited to be back in the gym today. Wish me luck!

This Month's Diet is Next Month's Body

I haven't posted in a while. I've just been super busy the last couple weeks. I'll be going to California next week too so I probably won't post for a while. Here are the professional pictures from the NPC show. I know you're probably sick of seeing the competition pictures, but I'm putting them on for my own sake. :) Anyways, the last two weeks I have been working out 4 times a week. It doesn't feel like much, but my workouts are pretty hard. I love my new workouts. Tamara Watt wrote them for me. Like I always say... this girl knows her stuff. I love the variety of exercises she gave me. I had been doing pretty much the same routine since October. I mean... We did switch things up a little a couple times.... but for the most part, ya. I love that she has me doing different things every single day. Not only does it keep my body guessing, but I've gotten to learn a lot of new exercises and that just excites me..... is that weird?? Haha I'm hoping to become a personal trainer sometime in the very near future, so learning new exercises is fun to me. Also, I already know that in Cali I won't be strict on my diet, but I'll do my best to eat healthy and I'm going to exercise everyday there :) Summer is just around the corner!! So don't forget that this month's diet and exercise are next months body! :-* good luck!

Back From St.George!

Hello!! I just got to spend the weekend in St.George! It was a nice break. My mom and I tried to eat pretty healthy there. We brought groceries and stayed moooostly on track on our diet. But I'll admit... I can't pass up a Swig sugar cookie.... or 2.... or 3. And we also went to an amazing doughnut place called Fractured Prune. But ya know what, for the most part we did pretty dang good!! And we exercised everyday too! But... I am glad to be back. I was so excited to be back at the gym. It's been a lot easier for me to workout since the competition. I feel like I'm not doing it because I have to anymore. I'm doing it because I want it to be a way of life. And I love it. Today was my first day back. I worked arms and shoulders and abs. I'll keep you posted :-*
